The Lumea IPL 9000 is my smooth operator! Easy to use and makes hair removal feel less like a chore. My razor is officially jealous, my legs are loving life and I’m ready to flash my way to fabulous! The kit comes with a great range of attachments for all hair areas. The power cable is long enough that you don’t need to be mounting the wall to get silky smooth legs. It’s basically silent which is a plus when you’re doing it at 10pm. My hairs are actively staying away!

This product is a dream come true for anyone who is a bit of a drama queen like me when it comes to hair removal. Until using the Lumea, I've never found a method I was completely happy with, mostly because many are so painful or having to schedule waxes is so inconvenient. The Lumea is simple to operate and is pain free (at last!) The Phillips app provides guidance on how to use the product from preparation to finish, making it an easy tool to get to grips with. There is even a guide on how to select the correct setting for your skin type. I am pale with dark hair and found that setting 5 worked the best for me. A quick push of a button and I was zapping my way to noticeable hair removal. The Lumea even has a light indicator to tell you when to press the button to activate it. It is light weight but sturdy. It is small enough to store without it being invasive of cupboard space. You could store it in your bedside drawer. It even comes with a neat storage bag which is about the same size as an average make up bag. I am not finished using this product but it has only taken 5 weeks to get to the point where I can see a real difference. My legs, under arms and face have all become smoother. My hair is taking longer and longer to come back. The hair that has returned is much more sparse. I have also seen a reduction in ingrown hairs and the little red spots that have plagued me most of my life. I will definitely be more confident in shorts and dresses next summer. I fully intend to complete the hair removal programme and I am excited for the final results. I have been waiting for a product like this for so long and would have no qualms about purchasing another model if they upgrade it at any point. The only gripe I have with the product is that the light is quite small so it can take a while to complete larger areas like legs. At first I also found myself losing track of what areas I had covered until I became more confident with using it. I would love it if they brought out a colour changing gel so that it was easier to map where you zapped but in a way this speaks very highly for how pain free to use the product actually is! Moving forward I am certain I will be loyal to the product and more interested in trying future Phillips products.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review the lumea IPL 9000 series, I shaved my legs and used it once two weeks ago and then again today, I have noticed there is definitely less hair growth and I will definitely continue to use this amazing product! It was painless for me and I had no irritation and feel this is a excellent product to help cut down hair growth all over your body.

I am on my 3rd session with this device and I can confidently say that I am now able to see real results. I have very fair skin and dark hairs and have used this device every 2 weeks as recommended. I have downloaded the app as well which is really helpful! It has a lot of insights on how to use the device and it also allows you to log your sessions and it sends you reminders. On my very first session I was a little bit nervous and although the device recommended me a 5 level intensity I was only able to use a 3. On my second session I started gaining more confidence and used a 4. And this is when I started seeing real results. My hair on my legs, arms and armpits are growing a little slower and I can see patches where my hair seems to not grow at the moment. I am expecting this to expand to my full areas as I continue using the device. I have to say that this is a big time investment, you need to shave completely wherever you want to use the device and then slowly work your way using the laser. It takes me 1 hour to complete my full legs, arms and armpits including shaving time. I will keep using it and I am confident I will soon be hair free!

I really like how easy and comfortable the Philips Lumea is to use compared with my usual hair removal method. After two sessions, I've already noticed that my hair is growing back more slowly and feels finer in some areas. The process is quick, simple and convenient at home. I'm looking forward to continuing with it and seeing further hair reduction. If the results continue to improve, I will fell very happy and more confident about having smooth skin with less frequent hair removal.

I was excited to try this as I have very dark hair on fair skin that constantly needs shaving. I don’t find this painful at all (even on max setting) and the process is super straightforward. It is more difficult to get full skin contact around boney areas (knees/ankles etc) but I usually manage it with some playing around. Being able to use this wirelessly is also really handy. So far I have done 2 treatments of my full legs and after the second treatment I noticed it took longer for my hair to grow back, so I’m optimistic I can be hair free with the full plan!

Body hair and facial hair has always been an issue for me and such a hassle to remove. Before discovering the Phillips Lumea 9000 IPL hair removal, I would dedicate time to removing my hair every day. And I have tried everything. I have shaved, which for me almost always came with cuts, ingrown hairs and missed hairs, I have used an epilator, which is painful, time consuming and sometimes doesn’t remove all the hairs, I have also waxed, which again, is time consuming, painful, messy and not all the hairs are removed. Plus with epilating and waxing, you need to let your hair grow for them to work, and I surely don’t want to do that especially during summer. As for shaving, the hair can start growing back as soon as the next day. After the first use of the Phillips Lumea 9000 IPL hair removal, I have noticed that hair regrowth was much slower. After 3-4 days I could feel some hair when touching my skin, but it was not noticeable. With the other methods I would notice hair regrowth within the next day or two. Some areas actually stayed hair free until the second IPL session, meaning that there was less hair regrowth in general. Not to mention the convenience and pain free experience of using the Lumea 9000. The device is extremely easy to use and it comes with a bag for storage and 3 different heads for different body parts: legs, armpits+intimate area, face. The skin sensor automatically adjusts the intensity level to suit your skin type and all you have to do is glide the IPL device across your skin. The most pain I’ve felt while using it was a tiny pinch like sensation, which I have only experienced in my intimate area, which is more sensitive as it is. As I am writing this I am a few days after the second IPL session and I’m amazed at how smooth my skin feels. I’ve experienced no irritation, no ingrown hairs or small injuries, things that have been common for me when using the other methods. After just 2 sessions I’m beyond impressed with the Phillips Lumea 9000, from the ease of use to the amazing results. It is definitely a worthy investment. I have less concerns about hairs that might have been missed, hairs that might have regrown over night, and I have mire time for myself. This device has made hair removal less of a chore and so much easier. I can’t wait to see the results after the full treatment.

Sto usando il Philips Lumea IPL 9000 da agosto e devo dire che sono davvero soddisfatta! È facilissimo da usare a casa, non fa male e si adatta bene alla pelle grazie alla tecnologia SenseIQ. Comode anche le varie testine per le diverse zone come viso, ascelle e bikini. Con la costanza si vedono davvero i risultati e i peli crescono molto più lentamente e deboli. Un ottimo investimento per chi vuole ridurre le sedute dall'estetista! L'app è davvero comoda e utilissima per i programmi e consigli!

Ottimo prodotto di facile utilizzo! Dimensioni facili da maneggiare! Non fa rumore e facile da utilizzare per la sua impugnatura ergonomica! La confezione presenta numerosi accessori per ogni parte del corpo inguinale, viso e gambe! Dopo un mese di utilizzo posso effettivamente dire che la richescita è rallentata notevolmente ! Simile a prodotto professionale !

Sto usando questo prodotto e mi sta piacendo davvero tanto. La prima cosa che ho apprezzato è stata l'esperienza di unboxing: ti guida passo dopo passo, dicendoti esattamente cosa fare e in che ordine farlo, da come tirare fuori il prodotto fino a come installare l'app collegata. Niente di confuso, tutto spiegato al momento giusto, e questo per me ha fatto davvero la differenza rispetto ad altri prodotti simili che ho provato. Anche l'app è fatta molto bene: registra i trattamenti che fai e ti manda dei promemoria se vuoi tenerne traccia nel tempo. Il prodotto in sé è facile da usare e non è affatto doloroso: l'app ti chiede il tuo fototipo e in base a quello ti aiuta a impostare il livello di intensità giusto, così il trattamento è pensato apposta per essere confortevole sulla tua pelle specifica. L'unica cosa che ho trovato un po' confusa sono le istruzioni riguardo alla depilazione prima del trattamento: dicono che va bene sia depilarsi con la ceretta che con il rasoio. Quando ho fatto laser in studi specializzati, però, mi hanno sempre detto di usare solo il rasoio, così il pelo cade naturalmente andando avanti con le sedute, e anche cercando online ho visto che in genere si consiglia il rasoio. Forse potrebbero specificare meglio se per questo prodotto è davvero indifferente, oppure indicare quale metodo dà risultati migliori. Ho già notato una diminuzione della peluria, il che mi fa ben sperare per il proseguimento del trattamento. L'unica altra cosa che non mi ha convinta del tutto è la pochette inclusa per riporre il prodotto e i suoi accessori: è un po' troppo piccola, e per farci stare tutto devi praticamente incastrare i pezzi come un puzzle. Nel complesso sono davvero soddisfatta del prodotto: ho apprezzato molto la facilità d'uso e il modo in cui tutto viene spiegato passo dopo passo.
