I’m now 3 treatments into my IPL journey with the Philips Lumea 8000. I have been using it on my upper and lower legs and underarms, following the recommended treatment schedule, and so far I’m really impressed with it. After just 3 treatments I am already starting to notice a difference, especially on my upper legs where I have seen a reduction in hair growth. On my lower legs I have also noticed that I am getting fewer ingrown hairs, which is something I wasn’t actually expecting but is a fantastic bonus!! I am half way through the treatment process, so I’m looking forward to seeing how much more of a difference I notice over the next few treatments. The Lumea itself is really easy to hold and use. I was expecting IPL to be uncomfortable, but I have honestly found it really easy and completely painless. The SmartSkin sensor is a great feature as it takes away some of the guesswork and helps choose the right intensity for your skin tone, which makes the whole process feel much more reassuring. One tip I would give is to use it in a room with really good natural light. The flashes are very bright and can be quite intense on the eyes, especially when you’re doing a larger area. I was actually quite surprised that you don’t need protective eyewear, although the safety features on the device are reassuring. The contact sensor is great because you know you have got the Lumea in the right position, although I have found it can take a little more manoeuvring around bony areas like the shins and knees to get it sitting flat enough. However, once you get the hang of it, it’s not really an issue. The Lumea app is probably one of my favourite features. It gives you lots of useful information and articles, talks you through the treatments and, most importantly for me, gives you reminders so you don’t forget when your next treatment is due. The initial treatments are every two weeks, so having the reminders makes it really easy to keep on top of everything. It was really helpful to input measurments and calculate how many flashes were needed. The only thing I have found with doing both legs is that it can get a little repetitive. There’s nothing difficult about it, but obviously there’s a lot of area to cover! I tend to put something on the TV while I am doing it, which makes it much less noticeable. The storage bag is another thing I really like. It’s really nice and good quality and makes keeping everything together easy. I do think it could be just a little bigger though, as getting the Lumea and charger back inside can be a bit of a squeeze. Not a huge issue, just something I noticed. The device itself feels really well made and sturdy, and definitely feels like something that’s been designed to last. Overall, 3 treatments in and I’m really pleased with it. I am already seeing a reduction in hair growth and fewer ingrown hairs, and the actual treatment has been much easier and more comfortable than I expected from an at-home IPL device. I’m going to carry on with the recommended treatments and see how much more of a difference I get. So far, I’d definitely recommend the Philips Lumea 8000 if you’re thinking about trying IPL at home. ❤️

So easy to use. Virtually painless too. Very easy to set up and use, just plug it in and it’s ready to go. Just done my second treatment and already noticing a difference!

I’ve been using the Philips Lumea IPL 8000 Series BRI874 and have really enjoyed the experience so far. The device is easy to use, feels comfortable on the skin, and fits well into my beauty routine. I appreciate being able to treat different areas at home and on my own schedule. Consistency is important, but I’m pleased with how simple and convenient the process has been. Overall, a great at-home IPL option!

Wow so I’ve been using the lumea 8000 and I think it’s brilliant for a girly who’s so use to using waxing services and buying dozens of disposable razors that you get literal one use out of this has been a game changer. It’s so easy to use with 5 different settings suited to you and your skin it’s amazing I suffer with a skin condition called psoriasis and I’m very fearful of heat and anything that could harm my skin and with the lumea it does the complete opposite it’s pain free no burning no itching it’s fantastic The handy app is so helpful with it’s handy reminder feature it reminds you when it’s time for your next session to maintain that smooth feeling I’m very impressed as a mum I forget so many things but with the handy reminders it helps so much

Summer is still here so I want my skin to be clean and without hair. So I using Lumea hair removal. All information how to use you can find in the documentation that goes with it. I love that it has no noise when I am using it. Probably because quality is perfect. Durability is great and it has a nice feel after.

Ik heb inmiddels twee sessies doorlopen met de Lumea IPL en kan je vertellen dat ook als je nog nooit iets met IPL hebt gedaan dat dit product zeer gebruiksvriendelijk is. Je plugt de stekker in en hij wordt binnen enkele minuten klaar voor gebruik. Met de handige app krijg je alle instructies van uitpakken tot het gebruik, het inplannen van volgende sessies en het schoonmaken na gebruik, echt top! In het gebruik vind ik de Lumea IPL ook erg fijn, het was even wennen maar de app loodst je overal doorheen om er achter te komen welke intensiteit je moet gebruiken voor welk lichaamsdeel. De sessies doen geen pijn, het is wel een bijzonder gevoel waar je wellicht even aan moet wennen. Alsof je ineens in de felle zon loopt maar dan alleen op dat stukje waar je het product gebruikt. Ik heb nog geen volledige kuur voltooid maar merkte na de eerste sessie al dat mijn haar minder terugkwam dan als ik een andere manier van ontharen gebruik dus ik heb goede hoop dat na de volledige kuur de haartjes voorlopig niet terug zullen groeien.

Ich habe Philips Lumea IPL 800 zu Hause getestet. Ich habe helle Haut und helle Haare so war ich etwas skeptisch. Ich habe das Gerät an den Beinen und im Gesicht ausprobiert. Und muss ich sagen : ES tut überhaupt nicht weh. Die Anwendung ist super sehr leicht und macht richtig Spaß bei der Self care Routine 🧖‍♀️. Für die Licht blitzte ✨hatte ich auch Schutzbrille 🥽 Man braucht sie nicht unbedingt, wenn das Licht in Zimmer gut ist, aber mit Schutzbrille ist einfach viel angenehmer. 😎Sehr gut finde ich auch das Gerät wirklich schnell lädt ⚡️.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit Philips Lumea ❣️ und glaube dass das Ergebnis richtig gut ist 🫶🏻👍🏻

Das Gerät kommt schön verpackt an und schaut dazu noch sehr hochwertig aus. Es liegt sehr gut in der Hand. Ich bin begeistert von der Wirksamkeit des Geräts. Die zwei Aufsätze sind sind besonders nützlich da sie perfekt für bestimmte Körperteile sind. Ich finde das es keine Schmerzen macht da ist epelieren unangenehmer es ist ein leichtes kribbeln was sehr angenehm ist. Das Gerät funktioniert nur an der Steckdose das erschwert etwas aber ansonsten bin ich super zufrieden mit dem Produkt und dem Ergebnis! Die einfache Bedienung und nur das leichte kribbeln während der Behandlung hat mich überzeugt. Preisleistung ist ok.

Sie unterstützt mich bei der Planung meiner Anwendungen und hilft mir dabei meine Routine im Blick zu behalten. Im Vergleich zu meiner bisherigen Haarentfernung durch Rasieren gefällt mir besonders, dass ich die Anwendung bequem überall durchführen und gut in meinen Alltag einbauen kann. Auch optisch gefällt mir der Lumea sehr gut. Das Design wirkt modern und hochwertig und auch die Aufbewahrung finde ich praktisch. Mein bisheriges Fazit: die einfache Bedienung, die unterschiedlichen Aufsätze und die Möglichkeit, IPL bequem zuhause in meine persönliche Beauty Routine einzubauen, gefallen mir besonders gut. Ich freue mich darauf, den Philips Lumea weiterhin regelmäßig zu verwenden.

Min erfarenhet av philips lumea 8000 är en väldigt positiv ♥️ den är enkel och smidig att använda hemma och tar int särskild lång tid per behandling. I början märkte jag inte så stor skillnad men efter regelbunden användning började jag märka att håret växer långsammare och blir tunnare och glesare särskilt på vissa områden. Jag tycker också att den är bekväm att använda och när som helst och det är bra att man kan anpassa ljusnivån efter sin hud och vad som känns bekvämt. Ibland kan man känna lite värme eller ett lätt stick, men för mig var det helt hanterbart. Det är viktigt att ha tålamod och inte förvänta sig att håret försvinner direkt efter första behandlingen. Resultaten kommer gradvis och kan variera från person till person beroende på hud och hårfärg. Jag rekommenderar den verkligen. Särskilt om man har mörkt hår och en hudton som passar IPL. ♥️♥️
